Mr. Griffin is responsible for all aspects of the accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and internal controls at Menlo Equities and its partner affiliates. In this role, he works closely with Menlo’s managing principals and oversees coordination with the firm’s external auditor and tax consultants on all regulatory and compliance needs.
Prior to joining Menlo Equities, Mr. Griffin was with Carmel Partners, where he was responsible for accounting and financial reporting for a series of real estate private equity funds. Previously, Mr. Griffin was a manager in the San Francisco office of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he worked in the Assurance and Business Advisory Group, specializing in serving real estate clients. He has broad experience in providing attestation services for commercial, retail, industrial, and multifamily real estate clients and has extensive experience in accounting for operating and developing real estate assets, as well as joint ventures and partnerships. Mr. Griffin’s clients included AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis), Stockbridge Real Estate Funds, and BlackRock Real Estate Investments.
Mr. Griffin is a certified public accountant in California. He received a BSC in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Santa Clara University. Mr. Griffin’s professional memberships include the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
