In January 1995, we made our first investment and acquired Apple’s original headquarters in Cupertino, California—a tech hub dominated by Apple. The property, 20525 Mariani, is a two-building campus, strategically located across from Apple’s current headquarters. Great building, irreplaceable location, fantastic tenant. It’s no wonder we continue to own the property today, with Apple as its tenant.
Since acquiring the Apple building 22 years ago, we have continued along the same path, honing a focused strategy that worked well then and continues to work well today. It’s a simple formula: invest in large corporate office campuses anchored by a large tenant (or two) in high-demand, tech-centric markets — locations that attract the best and the brightest knowledge workers who drive technology innovation.
